Plympton CC Recognised In The Community

Teresa Roberts teacher from Old Priory School has been so impressed with what JY, Ross and the other Chance to Shine coaches have brought not only to her school but all 8 schools at which we coach in  Plympton, so much so that Old Priory Junior school have donated with thanks a trophy, which was presented to JY  "The John Yeoman Chance to Shine Trophy" this will be a perpetual trophy for the girls inter school tournament for years 5 & 6.

Through the chance to shine team, the club has an established connection with the schools which has proved so important to increasing the number of children joining our colts section and has also been of a financial benefit to the club.

We would like to add our congratulations to John and the team of CTS coaches for their excellent work within the local community, promoting both cricket and the club. It is rumoured that JY will reluctantly accept a drink or two at the clubhouse bar if any would like to personally recognise his achievement.

The Honorable John Yeoman, Teresa & Rosco The Cat
